AUTUMN EMPLOYMENT FAIR 🍀 More than 50 employers presented themselves at the Autumn Employment Fair in Novi Sad. In the offer of jobs, the most represented were workers in production, trades, and service activities.The job market is changeable and dynamic, so companies and job seekers are constantly adapting and following trends.One of the ways to be informed about vacancies is through events like this. I believe that direct contact is useful for gathering information for all participants. Chelmsford City Racecourse and Career Transition Partnership ninth Employment Fair of 2024 ✅ I put together a rough steps list for making these Employment Fair videos, which are always completed either same-day or the following morning. The shot list varies slightly for each video but the rest is fairly static; turns out there’s a lot involved!The videos are designed to be quick to shoot and turn-around, rather than needing professional rigs, a laptop, and Final Cut Pro but the more you develop them, the longer they take! All footage is shot on an iPhone 15 Pro Max, a DJI Action 4, and a DJI Mini Pro 4, and is edited using Inshot Pro App on the phone. Often this means I’ll start and finish an edit in the van (as a passenger!) on the way home from an event - particularly for the ones with more than three hours of travel. 1. Film Sl sign-in2. Film sign/in b-roll3. Film employer and Sl engagement4. Mixture of drone footage5. Time-lapses6. Hyper-lapses7. Write intro script8. Record/film intro piece to camera9. Screenshot and crop all Social Media feedback on LinkedIn10. Gather good feedback quotes from SmartSurvey11. Edit video - Drone intro clips and title, piece to camera, song title, exhibitor/Sl engagement clips, time-lapses, hyper-lapses, speed-ramps, key framing movement, LI screenshots, feedback quotes, logo PIP, booking details, music, sound effects, end titles12. Colour grade necessary clips13. Tighten transitions14. Add any effects/filters/keying15. Source and add music - adjust video length if necessary16. Check audio levels17. Export in 4K and 1080p MP418. Upload 4K to Wistia19. Create thumbnail20. Write SM copy - including feedback quotes21. Upload 1080p to LI and FB22. Upload 4K, feedback screenshots, photos, thumbnail to OneDrive Media folder23. Create feedback PDF including screenshots, quotes, media coverage, links to video on LI and Wistia - send to business.

Speaking from my own experience, Career Transition Partnership offer a fantastic service, so I am looking forward to the CTP Bristol Employment Fair. My 2 cents? Nobody should be leaving their respective service struggling to find employment, you don't deserve that after the sacrifices you have made. But you still must earn it. By attending events like these you are pushing from the outside, but you also need someone to pull you in from the inside. In a world with ever increasing use of AI for CV screening, I cannot stress enough the importance of getting face to face with potential employers. Employment fairs provide you with a golden opportunity for networking with people on your transition journey to initiate that pull. No matter how far along the transition you are, I implore you to attend, and if you can't make this one, go to the next one, it's worth a mere 1 day of GRT.There are plenty of service leavers in my network (and beyond) with more experienced that I, and some currently in transition, I would love to hear: what advice you would give a service leaver? or advice you have received that was useful to you?

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, as of last year, 21.3% of individuals with a disability were employed, which is up from 19.1% in 2021. While more are finding work, the unemployment rate remains high.Figures show the unemployment rate for individuals with disabilities is more than double the unemployment rate for all American workers at 7.6%.This week's job fair also features a way to find an immediate-hire job. We've officially kicked off our 2024 Employment Fair programme with a super-successful day in Newbury yesterday. When asked whether we'd met their expectations, Service leavers said:"Exceeded my expectations, great turnout of employers with a wealth of knowledge and information to share.""Cannot suggest any room for further improvement.""It was great because there was such a wide variety of employers and the free drink token was a great added extra.""It was awesome!"And that's just a tiny snippet of the amazing feedback we received.Exhibitors said much the same:"Another great event, CTP - Thank you for having us!""Another great Career Transition Partnership event supporting Service leavers into their second careers.""Brilliant to be attending the Career Transition Partnership Newbury Employment Fair!""What an incredible day we had at our first Career Transition Partnership event!
